“I am writing to thank you for your generous $1500 scholarship. I am overjoyed to be selected for the scholarship, and I’m excited to share more about my medical school journey with you. As many know, the path to becoming a physician can be expensive. Thanks to donors, I’m able to pursue my lifelong dream and have less reservations regarding financial aid. I just recently began my first semester, which has further solidified my commitment to serving my community through health and medicine. My husband, who is currently training in San Diego, has very similar values and aims to serve our country by working to protect our freedom and safety.”
About the National Military Family Association Scholarships
Since 2004, NMFA has cheered on military spouses by awarding scholarships to help pay for everything from GED’s to PhD’s, professional licenses and certifications, including re-licensure, business and entrepreneurial expenses, supervised clinical hours, continuing education courses, and more.
