About The Anchor Scholarship Foundation:

Anchor Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to eligible family members (children and spouses) of active duty, retired, and honorably discharged Surface Navy personnel.

Over 45 years, Anchor Scholarship Foundation has awarded over $1,600,000 in scholarships to over 1,300 recipients. In 2024 alone, ASF awarded 44 scholarships (5 of which were renewable) valued at over $153,000.

Anchor scholarships are awarded based upon an equal weighting of academic performance, character, extracurricular activities and financial need.  Endowed and administered scholarships have additional criteria; not every applicant is eligible for every endowed or administered scholarship.
