“Dear Society of Sponsors of the United States, Navy, I greatly appreciate the scholarship, which will help me finish my graduate degree. I’m a Master of Social Work, Clinical student at Florida State University, and I have about a year left in the program. Once I graduate, I plan to earn my licenses and give back to the military community. As a Navy spouse, the road to higher education has not always been linear, so I appreciate your generosity and work to help support spouses. Your support also means a lot to my husband and our rescue dog Bandit, they have been on this journey with me, and when I told my husband, I was awarded a scholarship, he could not have been prouder. About the National Military Family Association Scholarships
Since 2004, NMFA has cheered on military spouses by awarding scholarships to help pay for everything from GED’s to PhD’s, professional licenses and certifications, including re-licensure, business and entrepreneurial expenses, supervised clinical hours, continuing education courses, and more.
